Italian LQA Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an Italian Localization QA Tester to join our team. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our Italian language translations. Your attention to detail and cultural understanding of the Italian language will be essential in identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and cultural nuances.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a global project team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identify and correct language errors, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions and recommendations.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
- Fluency in Italian and basic English.
- No experience required; we provide training and support.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Italian language.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
- Competitive annual gross salary of €12,851.00 + €6 meal allowance per working day.
- Work equipment provided by PTW (to be shipped to Freelancer's home address).
