Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Business Development Specialist to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with the Business Unit and General Sales teams to run desk training, tool training, and drive product mind share.
  • Perform presales tasks in configurators, setting prices, and sending offers.
  • Support the development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
  • Owning the building of an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system.
  • Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities, and the deal pipeline.
  • Supporting the execution of business plans as required by the Business Development Manager.
  • Supporting the execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Identifying training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and addressing them accordingly.
  • Serving as the point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales team.
  • Communicating product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and the internal sales teams.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing business in HPE and/or Aruba is preferred.
  • Candidate should possess a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Initiative, interpersonal skills, ability to develop a knowledge of product and technology portfolio, and IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, and Competition are ideal.
  • Telephone sales skills and a degree in a business-related subject are advantages.
  • A high level of Portuguese and English proficiency is required, as effective communication with multiple countries across Europe is essential.
  • Location: Lisbon or Porto preferred.
