About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team at Research Council. As a Helpdesk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system efficiency and performance
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of technical services
Requirements
  • Academic qualifications at 12th year level
  • Professional experience of more than 3 years in on-site technical support functions
  • Proven experience on Windows platforms (Workstation and Server)
  • Advanced knowledge in networks (TCP/IP), Hardware and password access/reset
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Good communication and customer orientation skills
  • Ability to adapt and work as a team
  • Dynamism and proactivity
  • Availability to work daily shifts between 8am and 8pm
  • Driving license
