Leading Employee Relations Manager

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to join our hotel's management team as a Human Resources Manager.
Main Responsibilities:You will provide first-class employee relations services to the hotel, ensuring a positive and productive work environment that fosters collaboration and success.
Your expertise in developing and implementing HR strategy, including succession planning and recruitment, will be invaluable in supporting the General Manager in achieving business objectives.
You will manage employee relations issues, such as disciplinaries, grievances, and capability, in a confidential and fair manner, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
Closely working with managers, you will provide guidance on recruitment, selection, and training to ensure the success of their teams and drive business results.
Accurate completion of management reports and effective budget management are essential in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets, while also controlling costs and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
In addition, you will collaborate with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry and raise awareness of the opportunities available, enhancing our reputation as a leading employer.
Prior experience as an HR manager, preferably in the hospitality industry, is essential for this role.
A strong understanding of Portuguese Labour Law and ability to apply it in a practical setting will be highly valued.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, are crucial for success in this position.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate flexibility in response to changing demands is necessary to meet the challenges of this role.
A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally, is essential for representing Hilton Worldwide, Inc. in a positive and professional manner.
Familiarity with hospitality principles, including customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving, will be beneficial in driving business outcomes and enhancing the guest experience.
