Director of Customer Experience Integration

We are seeking a dedicated Director to join the Zendesk team in Lisbon, Portugal, to lead initiatives and optimize operations for the Sell Business Unit. This role involves coordinating daily interactions and operations between Zendesk and Persistent to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a DRI for the Sell business, coordinating daily interactions and operations between Zendesk and Persistent
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Persistent partnership
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges to support collaboration and overall success of Sell
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Persistent relationship and Sell business, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service level agreements and important metrics
  • Sit on and lead the Executive Committee that governs the relationship between Zendesk and Persistent
  • Manage the financial aspects of the partnership, including reporting and payment for revenue sharing, P&L management, cloud cost understanding, and other special projects

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive business strategies
  • Excellent data analysis skills, as well as systems-level awareness and thinking
  • Foster and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with collaborators, including both external and internal teams
  • Experience working with engineering and product management teams
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to influence
  • Demonstrated success working across diverse teams and geographies, with the ability to synthesize what may appear to be competing priorities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and apply structured approaches/methodologies to projects
  • Strong Google Suite and slide skills
  • SaaS business model and Zendesk product knowledge are a plus
