Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the vendor business lead to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.
  2. Engage with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, running desk training, tool training, and driving product mind share.
  3. Develop strategies and ideas to assist business growth and take ownership of building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system (Compass).
  4. Provide weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities, and the deal pipeline.
  5. Support execution of business plans as required by the business development manager and marketing plans as required by the marketing manager.
  6. Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
  7. Escalate customer care issues from the sales floor and provide direction for the development and maintenance of web tools such as InTouch, Licensing Online (LOL), vendor micro-sites, and online configurators.
  8. Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and internal sales teams.
  9. Run call out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams, promote, and sell TD SYNNEX's e-business services.
  10. Maintain a working knowledge of product and technology portfolio, IT industry knowledge, and relevant software such as SAP R3 and Business Warehouse.
  11. Develop a strong understanding of customer focus, excellent communication skills, initiative, interpersonal skills, influencing sales teams, building structured sales activity, high energy, and motivating self-management.
  12. Participate in the global organization, network with other new coworkers, and connect with the community through internal peer-led inclusive communities and activities.
