Drive Growth and Success in the Paper Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the paper industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving top-line growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing our share of wallet in the designated mills.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Promote our offering and solutions to customers, with a focus on agreement-based business
  • Identify and document customer plans, needs, and objectives, and convert them into sales and development projects
  • Understand customer decision-making and purchasing processes and guide us through it
  • Work as a main negotiator or support in sales projects
  • Guide mill teams towards bundling and value-adding solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the market situation and competitor activities
  • Manage receivables and follow up on payments

Account Management:

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders, working as the lead point of contact for all matters
  • Stay up-to-date with customer strategy and objectives, organization, and people
  • Expand scope on existing customers and pave the way for our whole offering
  • Coordinate and lead activities in the client interface, including communication with the customer, visits, product promotion, sales, and success of delivery
  • Collect and follow customer feedback and satisfaction
  • Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Handle claims and resolve customer complaints

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the paper business sector, preferably in a production and/or maintenance managerial role
  • Experience in team leadership and management
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Good command of common IT tools and software
  • Hunting and team-working spirit
  • Strong customer and results orientation
  • Excellent communication skills and proactiveness
  • Good potential for growth and development
  • Will to travel and work in a dynamic environment
