Sales Leader

We are looking for a skilled Sales Director to lead sales efforts in the paper industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing market share.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Promote Valmet's offering and solutions to customers
  • Identify and document customer plans, needs, and objectives
  • Convert customer plans into sales and development projects
  • Guide mill teams towards bundling and value-adding solutions
  • Keep up-to-date with market situation and competitor activities
  • Receivables follow-up

Account Management

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customers
  • Keep up-to-date with customer strategy and objectives
  • Expand scope on existing customers
  • Coordinate and lead activities in the client interface
  • Collect and follow customer feedback and satisfaction
  • Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations
  • Handle claims

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering
  • Min 5 years' experience in the paper business sector
  • Experience in teams leadership
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Good command of most common IT tools
  • Hunting and team-working spirit
  • Strong customer and results orientation
  • Great communication skills and proactivity
  • Good potential of growth
  • Willingness to travel
