Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Portugal. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and qualify incoming leads to generate new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Understand prospects' objectives and develop strategies to offer relevant solutions that help them achieve their goals
- Precisely manage your sales pipeline and keep the CRM up-to-date
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and functions to enhance visibility and brand recognition
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a SaaS company, ideally within Travel Technology
- A "Hunter" mentality - persistent in prospecting and following up with prospects and motivated to close deals
- Performance-oriented - experience with sales KPIs and revenue targets
- Autonomous, persevering, and capable of working independently to achieve individual monthly business goals
- Demonstrates initiative in improving the B2B sales process
