Job Summary:
The company connects manufacturers with resellers, system integrators, and service providers, offering a wide range of IT products. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive revenue and gross profit margins in a designated region.

About the Company:
Michael Page Portugal is a leading recruitment agency specializing in permanent, contract, temporary and interim staffing solutions for accounting and finance, banking, human resources, IT and commercial jobs. Our client is a global distributor of technology products and services.

Responsibilities:
Broaden customer relationships, expand the database of channel partners, and identify growth opportunities in the assigned region. Plan and execute marketing strategies, maintain vendor and reseller relations, and contribute to the sales team's success through collaborative problem-solving and strategy development. Achieve targeted revenue and gross profit margins by driving customer breadth, product mixing, regional coverage, and coverage of all customer segments. Develop a database or channel partners to find new customers and increase volume of business with existing ones, analyze the customer database in the assigned region to identify new opportunities and growth strategies for the assigned region. Report results and actions on closed business and submit a forecast for the forthcoming month and lost business listing out valid reasons. Communicate promotions and special offers to customers in a timely and professional manner, develop and maintain good relations with the reseller channel in the assigned region, facilitate and solve work problems, and participate in sales team activities. Assist the team in developing selling strategies to maximize profitability.

Requirements:
A graduate with 2-3 years of experience in IT Sales, preferably with experience in HP products. At least 4 years of experience in the same position (Sales Manager/Business Unit Manager in Portugal), with experience selling HP and IT Hardware products being a must. Experience in IT distribution is also required. Good market knowledge and analysis skills, as well as excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to take ownership of revenue growth and gross profit margin within a designated region, with the potential to make a significant impact by driving customer expansion, optimizing product portfolios, and improving regional and segment coverage.

Salary:
An estimated salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
