LOCATIONThis role is based in Portugal. We have an office hub in Porto available for those who prefer a hybrid model where you can spend time with colleagues in-person. You will need to be able to commute to our office hub as required from time to time.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITHThe Sales Executive sits within the Activations team which is key part of the Global Markets Team. The Activations team is responsible for the sourcing and onboarding of new properties to the Hostelworld site, ensuring that these properties are competitive and utilising HW products where relevant, to help grow HW's competitive Inventory. This role often requires a collaborative approach and will work closely with all divisions across GMT including Commercial and Support to help ensure that departmental OKRs are achieved. The Sales Executive will report to the Property Onboarding & Support Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DOSuccessful onboarding of new properties on Hostelworld in line with targetsEnsuring all new activations are competitive and using HW products to maximize any potential businessProactively identifying, contacting and onboarding high demand properties in order to grow our market coverageSuccessful completion of all operational tasks required to support the roleSuccessful delivery of GMT OKR'sProvide top class service levels to property partners within the marketDevelop excellent collaboration and support with other Market Squads and Support teams. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORExperience & Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years' experience in an online ecommerce environmentKnowledge & Skills: Highly motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Commercially minded with appetite for fast changing business environmentGood analytical skills with an ability to interpret dataLanguages: proficiency English & at least one other European languageDriven team player with excellent sales, communication & interpersonal skills
