Territory Manager
About the Role:The successful candidate will support the development of Ormco business activities in Porto, Aveiro and Azores locations. Key responsibilities include exploring sales growth opportunities, developing leads from distribution channels and cultivating relationships with customers and peers.
Main Responsibilities:- Visit assigned customers regularly to promote products, share new product information and gather feedback on company services.
- Establish long-lasting relationships with tender regions, DMU's and affiliated orthodontic specialists to drive revenue growth.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Qualify potential customers as sales prospects for the corporation.
- Understand and adhere to corporate sales policies and procedures to provide excellent customer service.
- Suggest new product ideas and extensions to marketing management for evaluation.
- Foster a positive relationship with customers through proper customer entertainment and relations practices.
- Review and report customer complaints to recommend corrective action to the Region Sales Manager.
- Gather and report competitive information to Marketing Management.
- Prepare regular reports including weekly call reports, expense reports and other assigned documents.
- Bachelor or higher degree in Business or Economics.
- Strategic view on business development and ability to train peers and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with people and operate effectively in an unstructured environment.
- Experience working in an international setting.
- Fluent level of English and Portuguese; additional language skills are an asset.
- Prior experience in medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
- Excellent computer skills in Excel and CRM software.
