Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts. This includes:

  • Making outbound calls and conferences from inbound leads and online tools (LinkedIn, etc.) in the respective markets;
  • Researching potential new leads and approaching potential clients;
  • Managing and closing direct leads, assisting small merchants with self-registration, follow-up, and kick-off of these merchants;
  • Informing and making introduction conferences and digital presentations to potential clients about our products or services;
  • Answering questions about products or the company and resolving client's problems;
  • Acting as an ambassador for the business and promoting Viva's services and products;
  • Identifying opportunities from new business, sharing potential leads to the Business Development team, and converting calls into appointments for them;
  • Entering and maintaining up-to-date client information into the company database and keeping records of relevant data from calls and sales;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • BUILDING long-term relationships with clients and dealing with them in a professional manner;

You will also be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of our service in a prompt, polite, and professional manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manners;
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Very good verbal and written skills;
  • A proficient level of Portuguese and English;
  • A positive approach to objection handling;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • A proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone;
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software), social networking (LinkedIn) and telephone systems;
