Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Cluster Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing business across all segments, including MICE and Groups & Event Sales corporate and leisure consortia, from both new and existing accounts within the structure rate levels/volumes agreed upon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draws up the Marketing Plan annually together with General Managers of the hotels
  • Overses the day-to-day operation of the Sales department, providing leadership, motivation, and inspiration to the team to achieve or exceed targets
  • Develops business across all segments, including MICE and Groups & Event Sales corporate and leisure consortia, from both new and existing accounts within the structure rate levels/volumes agreed upon
  • Closely observes matters pertaining to competition (site, prices, services offered on a regular basis, quarterly or more often as needed)

Requirements:

  • Previous senior leadership experience within sales and marketing required
  • Cluster role experience would be an advantage
  • University/College degree in a related discipline required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to achieve targeted penetration index and guest satisfaction levels
  • Ability to work closely with the Digital, Marketing, and Communications teams to identify opportunities and leverage networks within the media
