We're seeking a skilled Public Relations Manager dedicated to the French market to join our Global Communications Team, reporting into the EMEA Comms Director. This role involves executing our PR strategy in France, driving media relations, press events, and creating compelling content to position Zendesk as a leader in AI-powered customer experience solutions.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Job Description: As a Customer Experience PR Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies that align with our global communications goals, focusing on the French market. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with key French media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
You will also write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that effectively communicates our brand messages. Additionally, you will organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field. You should be a native French speaker or have business fluency, as well as fluent English skills.
Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry is essential, along with a proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in France. Strong writing and editing skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain media relationships are also required.
