Public Relations Manager Job Description

At Zendesk, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to every person on the planet. As a key member of our Global Communications Team, you will play a crucial role in executing our PR strategy in France, driving media relations, and creating compelling content to position Zendesk as a leader in AI-driven customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with our global communications goals, focusing on the French market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key French media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that effectively communicate our brand messages.
  • Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
  • Collaborate with our social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Liaise with PR agencies, if applicable, to coordinate efforts and ensure consistent messaging and successful campaign execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Native French speaker or business fluent; fluent in English.
  • Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in France.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
