About Our Client
Our client is a leading global distributor of technology products and services. They connect technology manufacturers with resellers, system integrators, service providers, and other partners.
The company offers a wide range of IT products, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions. This role focuses on driving revenue and gross profit margins by managing customer relationships, expanding the database of channel partners, and identifying growth opportunities in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve targeted revenue and GP margin by driving customer breadth, product mixing, regional coverage, and coverage of all customer segments.
- Develop a database or channel partners to find new customers and increase volume of business with existing ones.
- Analyze the customer database in the assigned region to identify new opportunities and growth strategies for the assigned region.
- Report to the respective product manager the results and actions on closed business and submit a forecast for the forthcoming month and lost business listing out valid reasons.
- Marketing & Sales Planning: Communicate to the customers regularly any promotions/special offers in a timely and professional manner.
- Vendor & Reseller Relations: Develop, execute, and maintain good relations with the reseller channel in the assigned region.
- Teamwork: Facilitating, solving work problems, and participating in the activities of the sales team and assisting the team in developing selling strategies to maximize profitability.
Requirements:
- Graduate with 2-3 years experience in IT Sales.
- Experience in HP products is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience in the same position (Sales Manager/Business Unit Manager in Portugal).
- Experience selling HP and IT Hardware products is a must.
- Experience in IT distribution is beneficial.
- Good market knowledge and analysis skills are required.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
About the Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of revenue growth and gross profit margin (GP) within a designated region, with the ability to make a significant impact by driving customer expansion, optimizing product portfolios, and improving regional and segment coverage.
The estimated salary for this position is around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
