Our client is a global distributor of technology products and services, connecting technology manufacturers with resellers, system integrators, service providers, and other partners. They offer a wide range of IT products, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
Sales Specialist RoleThis role focuses on driving revenue and gross profit margins by managing customer relationships, expanding the database of channel partners, and identifying growth opportunities in the assigned region. The position also involves planning and executing marketing strategies, maintaining vendor and reseller relations, and contributing to the sales team's success through collaborative problem-solving and strategy development.
Responsibilities:- Achieve targeted revenue & GP margin by driving customer breadth, product mixing, regional coverage, and coverage of all customer segments.
- Develop a database or channel partners to find new customers and increase volume of business with existing ones.
- Analyze the customer database in the assigned region to identify new opportunities and growth strategies for the assigned region.
- Report results and actions to the respective product manager and submit a forecast for the forthcoming month and lost business listing out valid reasons.
- Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in IT sales.
- Experience in HP products.
- At least 4 years of experience in the same position (Sales Manager/Business Unit Manager in Portugal).
- Experience selling HP and IT hardware products is a must.
- Good market knowledge and analysis.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
