The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Travel Sales Professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will engage with prospective and existing customers who have shown interest in booking a campervan but did not complete the process, or customers looking to enhance their existing bookings with add-ons, extras, or insurance. You will also reconnect with past customers, encouraging them to embark on another unforgettable adventure with us.
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Follow-Up: Contact customers identified through commercial leads who have not completed their campervan booking online.
Upselling and Cross-Selling: Engage with customers who have existing bookings but have searched for extras, such as insurance, additional kilometres, or other services, to encourage them to finalise the purchase.
Reach out to customers who travelled with us nine months ago to promote new trips and special offers for the upcoming year.
You will conduct virtual consultations with prospects and customers to present tailored options that meet their travel needs.
Develop strong connections with customers to build trust, ensure satisfaction, and foster loyalty for repeat business.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, track sales activities, and provide regular updates to the sales team.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in travel, hospitality, or customer service industries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present options and build rapport with customers.
Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and online communication tools (Slack, Google Workspace).
Strong focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that enhance their experience.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple leads simultaneously, track progress, and meet deadlines.
Past experience in upselling, cross-selling, or managing long-term customer relationships is a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Salary:
€45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
