About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Professional to join our team in South Portugal. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase the existing customer base
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to develop effective sales strategies
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our relationship with them
  • Propose new sales initiatives and strategies to overcome market challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in material handling
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM software (SalesForce)
  • Languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English (must have)
  • Ability to travel around the assigned sales territory (South Portugal, Southwest Spain)
