Cardiac Surgery Business Development Specialist

At Medtronic, we're dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare by championing access and equity for all. As a Sales Representative in our Cardiac Surgery Operating Unit, you'll play a pivotal role in breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected and compassionate world.
About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to maintain and develop the Cardiac Surgery business with existing and new customers in line with our business guidelines and strategies. You will be responsible for maximizing sales by performing activities from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation, while identifying, preparing, and executing upcoming tenders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maximize sales by introducing and presenting products to customers, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers to drive business success
- Analyze market trends, develop effective territory/account sales strategies, and plan sales coverage/resources
- Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop new opportunities, and train customers on Medtronic products
What We Offer
A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a flexible benefits package that supports your career and personal development. Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's or University degree in life-science, engineering, or a relevant field, along with at least 3 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably in sales. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish. Proficiency in computer literacy and a clean driver's license are also essential.
