German Speaking Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven German Speaking Business Development Representative to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth across the EMEA region.
About the RoleIn this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our sales team to achieve individual and team targets. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, identify high-potential prospects, and execute daily outbound phone calls and emails to C-level decision makers.
You will also be responsible for understanding customer needs, gathering technical requirements, and correlating business needs to available Cloud solutions. Additionally, you will update and maintain prospect and customer data in Salesforce.com, manage leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce.com, and work towards team and individual goals for key performance indicators like productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of €31,800 per year, plus up to €6,360 in bonus, making a total estimated salary of €38,160 per year. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a relocation package, private health insurance, and support for your personal and professional development.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Native level of German
- Ability to speak and write English fluently and idiomatically
- Some experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development, ideally in the IT industry
- Some understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Cloud Platform solutions
Able to connect business needs with adequate solutions, strong business acumen, and comfortable working against an assigned quota in a phone-based environment. General IT skills: essential computer skills to navigate efficiently a computer-based job.
Desirable Skills- 1 year experience in IT outbound sales prospecting, with strong sales acumen and ability to persuade others and read situations well
- Experience in cold calling and successfully managing a large portfolio of accounts and contacts
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is proactive, confident, competitive, and tenacious. Understanding of local market and local business environment.
This is a full-time position (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with a hybrid working model in Barcelona. We offer a dynamic business casual environment with colleagues of all ages gathered in a highly-motivated team.
