At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As Director of Business Development, you will secure and retain business for PPD through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities focused on decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors. Your goal will be to position PPD as a primary or preferred provider for all clinical development work to be outsourced, qualifying deals and developing proposals including defining the solutions and recommending pricing structures to meet strategic company goals. The sales territory for this role will cover some of our key markets across Europe, including the UK, France, DACH, BeNeLux, and Nordics. We have flexibility on which specific territory is assigned and will tailor it to the candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Secure and retain business for PPD through professional sales activities
• Position PPD as a primary or preferred provider for all clinical development work to be outsourced
• Qualify deals and develop proposals including defining solutions and recommending pricing structures
• Meet strategic company goals
