Job Title: Field Sales

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales professional to join our team at TheFork. As a Field Sales representative, you will be responsible for managing designated pipelines and making outbound calls to negotiate terms and close new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated pipeline and make outbound calls to negotiate terms and close new business
  • Consultatively position our distribution platform and value proposition to prospective customers
  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and modify customer engagement to overcome objections and identify solutions to roadblocks
  • Effectively and professionally represent our brand and platform
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by collaborating with sales operations, supplier support, and account management teams
  • Exhibit determination and resilience in the face of obstacles or challenges
  • Engage with destination marketing organizations and other trade groups to win customers
  • Travel to attend trade events, participate in regional speaking engagements, and/or attend internal team meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably with an online company
  • Native Portuguese with good level of English
  • Restaurant/F&B Distribution to HORECA channels/hospitality industry experience preferred, particularly with sales activities outbound, direct contact with prospects
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Proven record of contracting new business and regularly exceeding sales targets
  • Territory and pipeline management experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and the relevant language/s of the territory
  • Results-driven hunter mentality with relentless drive to sign up new customers
  • Proven self-starter with ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision
  • Confident and energetic; flexible and adaptable; organized and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
