Bacardi Limited is seeking a talented Sales and Business Development Leader to join our team in Portugal.

Job Description:

The Key Account Manager will be accountable for driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with key customers in Portugal. This role requires strong negotiation skills, first-hand sales experience, and a working knowledge of sales effectiveness tools and category management.

  • This role involves delivering key revenue targets as determined by the Country's financial team.
  • You will develop and maintain effective and strategic relationships with Key Customers and influence the positioning of Bacardi brands in the Country.
  • You will be accountable for the implementation of Integrated Activity Plans (IAPs) agreed for the Off Trade Key Accounts.
  • You will utilize Bacardi's Picture of Success guidelines to establish strategic agreements with the main National Off Trade Groups, Food Service chains, and other strategic Business-to-Business partnerships.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on key revenue targets, including NSV, Gross Margin, Overheads, Profitability, ROI, and Value Share.
  • Understand all customers' strategies and leverage the Bacardi value proposition to grow mutual business.
  • Participate and agree on Joint Business Plans that deliver 'win-win' value to Bacardi business and customers.
  • Implement the Picture of Success to deliver improved sales and mix.
  • Optimize promotional plans and efficiencies of investments through the year using the ROI strategy and goals.
  • Contribute to the shaping of the channel and portfolio strategy of the Country.
  • Contribute to the country IAP process to ensure local channel and customer needs are captured.
  • Build effective long-term relationships with Key Customers and the Field Sales Team.
  • Provide accurate demand forecasting for PoS Materials to Supply Chain teams or Planning/Customer Marketing teams.
  • Drive a pay-for-performance approach with Customers.
  • Implement standardized Commercial best practices.
