Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue across medium and long-term stays. You will develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue, set annual sales targets and budgets, and identify and develop new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
- Set annual sales targets and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Identify and develop new revenue streams to drive business growth and agility
- Generate and nurture leads with potential clients, such as universities, student exchange agencies, and key partners
- Conduct market research to tailor service proposals and attract new clients while expanding relationships with existing clients
- Manage client accounts to identify commercial opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
- Collaborate on rate strategies for all revenue streams and oversee management of channel platforms
- Manage the CRM system to track sales pipeline, customer data, and performance reporting
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for targeted market segments
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- ~5 years of relevant experience in a similar sales management role
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in real estate, flex-living, student accommodation, or residential housing is highly valued
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Language Skills: High proficiency in English is essential, with additional language skills being a plus
- Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales strategies, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals
- Results-driven: Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Resilience & Adaptability: Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships
- Proactive Approach: Takes initiative to identify growth opportunities and improve processes
