We are building a new generation of expense management software with a product-first approach that benefits our end-users. Our team is ambitious, international, and growing, with over 150 Rydoo'ers from 33 nationalities, spanning 15 languages.
The Role
As a Business Development Representative for the DACH market, you will be based in Lisbon and responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities to bolster Rydoo's presence in the DACH region. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to optimize lead generation and develop a strategic sales approach for the DACH market.
Responsibilities
- Generate a sales pipeline that will be converted into closed business through outbound cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and other creative approaches to engage key prospects.
- Qualify outbound leads to understand their business challenges related to expense management and assess how Rydoo can assist.
- Collaborate with the sales team to grow the pipeline and customer base in your assigned region, aligned on the market strategy.
- Gather marketing information related to customers, competitors, and pricing.
Requirements
- A natural hunter personality who excels at understanding customers and their needs.
- A people-first approach with excellent communication skills and a talent for turning rejections into opportunities.
- Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level; other languages are a bonus).
- 1 to 2 years of experience selling B2B SaaS solutions (previous SDR or outbound sales experience valued).
- Experience in account-based marketing and growth tactics.
- Highly organized and adaptable.
- A drive to generate new sales leads and meetings through a mix of outbound phone and email prospecting, following up on marketing campaigns, and inbound inquiries.
- A growth mindset with a track record of success in prior roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
