The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Grocery & Retail Growth Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Grocery & Retail Growth Strategist to own the business relationship with large retail partners in Portugal. This role requires a unique blend of project management, relationship management, operational optimization, data analysis, and complex problem-solving skills.

You will be responsible for leading key partnerships, collaborating with major retailers to grow their business sustainably, and delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a critical role in expanding new categories, such as groceries, and driving growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to grow partner businesses through new locations, experimenting with new business models, or increasing same-location sales.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, maximizing their financials, marketing efforts, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making, increase performance, and address identified issues to meet objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and business development teams to ensure growth objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in enterprise partnerships, consulting, business development, account management, or project management.
  • Highly autonomous and proactive, able to work with minimal oversight and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box, and deliver results-driven solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including developing detailed KPI improvement plans and delivering them to plan.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders, supported by good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound commercial judgment through analytical thinking.
  • Native/fluent in Portuguese and English, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
