About the Role
We are seeking an International Customer Support Engineer to join our European Expertise Center in Porto and Bordeaux. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring the optimal performance of our machines. Your main mission will be to guarantee the availability of Lectra equipment installed at customers, providing remote assistance to resolve issues efficiently and implementing smart services according to service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to customers and subsidiaries for Lectra Products, including cutting machines, plotters, spreaders, software, and industry solutions 4.0
- Guarantee the availability of Lectra machines installed at customers, ensuring the best performance of our equipment
- Implement smart services functioning, according to service contracts, to maintain optimal machine performance
- Maintain a high level of satisfaction for our customers by providing quality services
Profile
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree in electronics, mechanics, or production, with experience in electric and electronic applications, troubleshooting, and good initiative for practical concepts and procedures related to manufacturing and productivity. Proficiency in CAM applications and robotics – software and hardware – is also required. Excellent communication skills and a focus on service are essential, as well as the ability to adapt and analyze problems resolution. Spanish and English are the primary languages required, although knowledge of Portuguese or other European languages is a plus.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 per annum, based on location and experience. In addition to your remuneration package, which includes Health Insurance and Life Insurance, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
