Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Alter Solutions. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing second-line support to our customers.

Your primary focus will be on managing and monitoring service levels, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will work closely with technical and functional teams to resolve incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for building and updating documentation and materials to support our services. This will involve analyzing and documenting internal processes and tools, as well as identifying areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with IT best practice standards and tools, such as ITIL;
  • Strong functional analysis skills;
  • Proficiency in SQL/MYSQL and scripting languages, such as KSH/Bash, Python, or Perl;
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environment;
  • Familiarity with Gitlab;
  • Knowledge of JAVA language;
  • Knowledge of Cloud-Based environments, preferably IBM Cloud or MS Azure;
  • Understanding of Terraforms;
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
