Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Professional to join our team at Alter Solutions Group. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support for Java applications in a production environment.
- Work closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless incident management and reporting.
- Develop and maintain rich technical documentation to support customers and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the field.
Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Java applications in a production environment.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment, preferably GitLab CI or GitHub.
- Ability to triage and debug technical issues with customers.
- Experience working with ServiceNow for Incident Management and Reporting.
- Proven track record of contributing to Open Source or Inner Source projects a plus.
- Experience with at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
