We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our team at Hovione, an independent family-owned international group of companies. With over 1950 team members from 36 nationalities, we are a market leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our services portfolio
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, monitoring customer and competitor activity
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with senior-level decision makers at biotech and large pharma accounts
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities with existing customers
  • Create demand for our CDMO services
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address commercial challenges
  • Communicate and support departmental managers as needed
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure project delivery for assigned portfolios of customer accounts
  • Build internal networks within Hovione and customer accounts
  • Negotiate CDAs, Master Service Agreements, and Commercial Supply Agreements for allocated accounts
  • Coordinate with global regulatory, production, quality, supply chain, and R&D groups to provide superior customer service
  • Analyze data using our Customer Relationship Management system to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Monitor customer account and market activity, providing concise and insightful analysis on customer dynamics, market developments, and competitor activity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant CDMO experience in account management
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management both internally and externally
  • Experience in budget planning and forecasting
  • Possess extensive knowledge of account management, marketing, sales, and business development principles and practices
  • Fluency in English is required

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
