Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our team in Michael Page Portugal.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, identifying market gaps and opportunities, and developing commercial activities to capitalize on potential growth areas. The role will involve evaluating key sales KPIs, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize results
  • Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities, and propose commercial activities to capitalize on these areas
  • Develop and present cycle Incentive Proposals (IMPIs) to the Sales departments, leading the approval process at the Incentives Steering Committee
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of trade investments across various channels, customers, and territories, providing recommendations to guide investment allocation and maximize ROI
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools is essential, as is experience in the FMCG industry. You should also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
