Key Business Developer for Strategic Growth

Are you a results-driven professional looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Developer at ABB, where you will be responsible for driving growth and success in our Serial Drives Business on the Spanish Center & South Region.
We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in electronics, automation, or electrics. Your excellent communication skills, combined with your ability to build long-standing customer relationships, will enable you to identify effective solutions for customer needs.
In this role, you will:
- Hunt new customers on Strategic Channels (OEMs, System Integrators, and Automation partners), and grow in Industry, directly or through Technical Distributors
- Develop new applications to contribute to reach the budget of the sales region across the PLCs and Drives portfolio
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions
- Prepare sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy

To be considered for this role, you should have:
- An engineering degree in electronics, automation, or electrics
- More than 3 years of experience in Business Development and new Applications
- Solid knowledge of PLC, HMI, and Variable Speed Drives
- Experience in high-performance applications (cranes, winches, winders, mills, extruders, process lines, test benches, etc)
- Mastery of PLC programming
- Self-learning skills and focus on new applications
- A medium-high command of English
- Highly fluent in Spanish
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
