About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Premier Helpdesk Analyst to join our team at Travelport. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional customer support in the travel industry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers via various channels, including phone, web submit, chat, and email. They will work closely with colleagues to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing impact on customers.

A key aspect of this role is managing incidents from our omni-channel offerings, reporting problems via our Incident Management System, and monitoring them through to valid updates/resolution. The ideal candidate will also contribute to identifying trends that can be used to increase customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • At least 1 year of experience within the travel industry, preferably in a Travel Agent, Airline, or other GDS environment;
  • Extensive GDS knowledge, with Galileo being a preferred but not required skill;
  • A collaborative, consultative, reliable, and empathetic approach to developing strong customer relationships;
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills or the ability to acquire them quickly;
  • A positive and 'can-do' attitude, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
