We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our team in Lisbon.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to work with us as a Claims Specialist. As a key member of our Shared Services Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of customer/supplier claims.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely receipt and analysis of telephone calls and emails;
- Process customer/supplier claims efficiently and effectively;
- Identify responsibilities and escalate requests for expertise when necessary;
- Monitor claims on a daily basis with declarants and car manufacturers (if applicable);
- Manage the transportation of damaged vehicles transferred to a new client (if applicable);
- Analyze, control, and validate disputed purchase invoices;
- Initiate and follow litigation procedures until file closure (if necessary);
- Report events or malfunctions requiring management attention;
- Compile activity reports summarizing key elements;
- Pursue continuous improvement processes;
- Record operations and update data in tracking files;
- Provide administrative follow-up until payment by the responsible carrier;
- Participate in monitoring indicators (KPIs) and statistics.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Mandatory proficiency in French (C1 level) and English (B2 level);
- Previous experience in claims management is advantageous;
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
